Step 1 - Obtain your Motorcycle Learners Licence

NOTE: You will also have the following restrictions on your licence:

When you ride, you must be within sight of a qualified supervisor. Your supervisor must be at least 19 years old (if you hold a Class 8L your supervisor must be at least 25 years old) and must hold a valid Class 6 full-privilege licence.

Your speed must not exceed 60 km/h.

No passengers.

You may ride only during daylight hours - that is, between sunrise and sunset

Riders with an 8L licence must display an L sign

Step 2 - Take the Ride to Survive Course! - See our course dates

Step 3 - Once you have completed the Ride to Survive Course and passed your MSA (Motorcycle Handling Test), you will be provided a form which will allow you to attend a Licencing Office to remove the following restrictions:

Step 4 - You will now be able to book your Road Test

Road Test Fee:  $35

Step 5 - Once you successfully pass your Road Test, you will have the other two restrictions removed from your licence.

BIKE RENTAL

ICBC Rental Vehicle Coverage - must be purchased for the rental period from an Autoplan Broker.  Roadstar or Roadside Plus Rental Vehicle coverage is not acceptable.
